His site has been online for just a few weeks and he couldn't even hope for what happened to his life in this short period of time...

Alex has already sold his million pixels and the people who put their trust - and their money - in his website got back far more, in terms of visitors and sales, than they ever wished for. I'm probably very stupid, but if I didn't try I would have been thinking about it until now...

Now, in order to introduce myself to you who can read english but not french, my name is Pascal Cola, I'm a 28 years old guy, I live on the French Riviera, near the military port of Toulon.
My son was born in 2000, and it's for him that I'm writing here today : I want to secure his future.
I want him to go to University because I never went to University, my father never went to high school ! The only subject of study I kept working on was english, I love this language, after many years of practise I now find it relaxing to read books or watch movies in english. I wish there were more occasions to speak and hear english in my daily life in France. I'm know I can always improve my knowledge of english even if at the moment I'm still just composing with my vocabulary.

When I was 18 I went to Paris to work as a Fireman, with a 5 years contract with the army. Before the end of the contract my son was born and I regularly did the 1200miles return-trip to South of France where his mother was living in our rented flat.
From the first day I saw my son I loved him so much ; he's really all you could ever dream of as a child (apart from some looooooooong eating sessions :-)
Honestly he's a great pal and I want the best for him. I also would love to give him a brother or a sister, I think it is a great gift in life.
Unfortunately we separated with his mother 2 years ago, so he won't have a 'real' brother or sister. But I wish to offer him one soon with a nice woman, so I'll have 2 kids to care for, that'd be a start ! I'll keep you updated on that. :-)

I finished this summer's season working at a nearby coast beach ressort as a lifeguard and I'm now back to winter months finding no work apart from volontary shifts in my local firestation. I try to be hired as a professional in this firestation or elsewhere, but there aren't many places, I have been on the waiting list since last year when I validated the required tests. I'm passing some new ones so I can get more missions in the coming months.

Recently, I thought to myself : "I can't go on like this for ever, time passes by so fast and I still haven't secured anything for my son... no house, no serious bank account, what if I can't make it ?", that's not fun when you think of it. I opened a bank account for his first birthday, but barely added any money in it apart from family donations...

After a friend from the beach ressort told me he had made a couple hundreds euros in just 4 months simply by installing "Adsense Google" on his personal homepage, I decided to look on the internet for common ways to generate an additional income from the internet and after some research I read an article about Alex's new concept and I thought "that's it, I will try to do that, but I'll add my french touch to it, it will have FRANCE written all over it and will reward the top sponsors by even more exposure", and so I did what you have in front of you :

So I decided to invest some money to setup a site in order to sell the same thing as Alex : I've got 1,000,000 pixels on sales for at least 5 years, that is october 2010 !

My site being in french, of course buying some pixels should only appeal to you if you think you can benefit from a mainly french speaking audience.

At the moment I can't afford to pay for a second site in english, I am not sure how things will evolve, I can only guess that the choices of Alex (english and dollars currency) are the clevest ones and that my site may not get from french companies and individuals, the same interest Alex's homepage got from all over the world.

But maybe if Alex could speak another language he would do another one, I don't know what he thinks... So I told myself "why not try to do a quality site in french ?" I can also add "Adsense Google" to this site and maybe try others things.

I'll do my best to meet success since, as a professional fireman, I have developed ironwill, self motivation, and initiative : never giving up when they're people still in danger or who need help.

So for the future of my son, I want to try it hard, very hard ! I know it is possible, and with the help of God I'll find a way to make it become a reality.

I may meet difficulties, but in the end, with the help of internet friends and prayers, I'm quite positive that selling pixels on my homepage can work. Just need that extra bit of luck.

update 21st october : that extra bit of luck is here, my mother, to whom I explained exactly what I was doing those last few days, thinks it's a nice idea. To my surprise, she decided to offer me and my site a gift : exposure. That's right she wrote me a check of 500€ (roughly 600$) and told me to use it exclusively for promoting my site !
I decided quite quickly that I trusted Alex Tew's idea well enough to be a part of his story and his homepage, so I've spent everything my mother gave me at once and gave it to Alex : I bought 600 pixels !

12 hours later they were already online, they are located on the left side of the homepage, above the gold coin and left to the red heart :

What you need to know before buying pixels from me:

For 500 pixels bought, you get 100 free (500 -> 600; 1000 -> 1200; 1500 -> 1800)
From 2000 pixels bought, you get 1000 free (2000 -> 3000; 4000 -> 6000; etc.)

Basically what I need is your image as a GIF, PNG or JPEG, your link starting with http:// and a short description to put in the TITLE/ALT tags.
I'd also need to know which pixels you want to buy (eg: 20 blocks accross, 30 blocks down).

The same rules as Alex's about obscenity/offensive/adult content apply to my site, additionnaly online casinos will be rejected, advertising those sites is illegal in my country, so please don't order pixels if you know your website will be rejected, I'm sorry to be respectful of my country's laws even if I don't approve them all.

Other pixels sites are welcome, I like them all ! Particularly, Alex Tew, if you want to advertise with me to a french audience, please be my guest ! :-)

A small difference with Alex's rules is that I also allow for buying another kind of advertizing : on the right side of every content page, but the front page, you can see a 120x240 pixels bloc, but this is not long term and not permanent as are my homepage's pixels. This bloc is mainly for small pockets who want to have their ad on my site, even if they have to share the displays with other advertisers. Actually, you can buy yourself a one year presence in this space, but you can also try it for a month... Here's the bloc again :
